Beavers
Age
Beaver Scouts are
boys and girls age 5 ¾ - 8 years of age, we are the youngest
section of the Scout movement.
Our place in the Scouting
Family Tree
We belong to a
group, which is usually made up of a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and a
Scout Troop. All sections meeting at different times.
When we meet
We meet for
approximate. 1 hour – 1 ½ a week depending on
which colony you decide to join. We have numerous colonies in and
around
Kingswood and there is a colony to suit all, as they meet 1 night a
week Monday – Friday somewhere across the district.
Our uniform
Beaver Scouts wear
a smart uniform made up of a turquoise sweatshirt, navy cargo trousers
and a group neckerchief.

already, perhaps from school, if you do not know any other Beaver
Scouts you will be given a buddy to look after you.
In your first four
weeks at Beaver Scouts you will join in all the fun activities.
The leaders will help you come to know the Beaver colony ceremonies,

activities available in the colony.
